Description

Innosilicon’s A6 LTC Master is an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) that mines the cryptocurrency Litecoin. It was released in January 2018 with a hash rate of 1.23Gh/s and a power consumption of 1500W. Litecoin, with a market capitalization of $2.56 billion, is gaining traction due to its user-friendly algorithm and faster transaction speeds.

Innosilicon began designing and releasing Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) Miners specifically for mining Litecoin in response to the recent demand for Litecoin mining hardware. The miners include the Innosilicon A6 LTC Master.

The A6 LTC Master has the same twin fan setup as the majority of Innosilicon miners, with two fans in the front and back for effective cooling. The design and look are similar to the A9 ZMaster series from Innosilicon. The A6 LTC Master measures 350 x 155 x 500mm and weighs about 7.5kg.

The A6 LTC Master is a crypto mining device that uses the Scrypt algorithm. The published specifications are 1.23Gh/s peak hash rate (+/- 8%) and 1500W power consumption (+/- 8%) at 25°C operating temperature.

The A6 LTC Master has two 12cm 12C3.4A fans in the front and two 12cm 12C3.4A fans in the back. This fan configuration, similar to the A9 ZMaster fan configuration, is quite effective in preventing overheating.

The average temperature of the hash boards is approximately 39°C, and the air inlet temperature is around 20°C while the A6 LTC Master is in stable mining mode. The temperature of the air outflow is around 23°C.

If you want to acquire the A6 LTCMaster to mine at home, be aware that it might be pretty noisy. The measured noise around 20cm distant from the device during routine mining activities throughout the day is 82dB.
